Photo Art talk on Impressionism by Joh Friedrich.
Impressionism and photography originated in the same time frame in history. One learned from the other. This presentation explores the great impressionists and some techniques we have learned from them.

June 1st Meeting - Not to be missed, we will feature the biggest photo ever produced by a Latow member. It is 30 feet wide by 6 feet tall and will be on display in the Latow Studio where our meeting will be taking place at the usual 7:30 time.

Intake cut-off: May 23rd
7:00 Start time (not 7:30) $10 admission. Meet in the Rotary room to mingle with nibblies and cash bar. Guests are welcome and encouraged to attend.
7:45 Adjourn to the Studio for image review and awards. NOTE . . . all members attending will have an opportunity to vote on a new Member's Choice Award.
8:30 Return to the Rotary room for coffee, nibbles and windup.
While there were 3 judges doing the judging, it will not occur live on June 6th.
Due to the postponement of the Annual General Meeting and Election of Officers on May 2nd, we will conduct this business at the beginning of the gathering on June 6th in the Latow Studio at 7:45 p.m.
June 13th will be the Studio Group's yearly Show & Tell session. Members are encouraged to bring in any studio related work for projection & discussion (USB key is preferable). Work shot outside the studio is welcome as long as some aspect of controlling light was involved. Works in progress are also acceptable. Please bring any suggestions for next year's program. Evening coordinated by Dave Fernandes.
Join fine art photographer Deborah Kanfer, for a hands-on workshop showcasing an advanced technique using multiple exposures to create stunning and moving pieces of work.
Registration is encouraged, as the working group is limited to 11 people. To register, email the B&W group leader at imaginemallory@gmail.com.
