We meet every Tuesday night and many Thursdays at 7:30 pm online via Zoom. In the future, when possible, we will return to meeting in person at the Art Gallery of Burlington. General meetings take place on the first Tuesday of the month and the group meetings are on the following Tuesdays. Members are provided a weekly email with the Zoom links for each meeting. Executive meetings are held every month from September through June (see the program for exact dates). Any Latow member in good standing is welcome to attend.
Our facilities are located at the Art Gallery of Burlington, which means that we have many opportunities for exhibiting and selling photography: five monthly exhibition slots in the Fireside Lounge, an annual juried show, and exhibition/sales events with the other AGB Guilds in November and June.
Facilities include a fully-equipped studio of approximately 1,100 square feet, with studio strobes, tungsten lighting units, and a variety of backdrops.
For film users, we have a fully-equipped darkroom with enlargers that handle the range from 35mm to 4 x 5-inch film. Some have color heads. Members using the darkroom supply their own paper and chemistry.
Adjoining the darkroom is a finishing room with a light table, copy stand, slide duplicator, dry mount press, mat cutter, and paper cutters. Members using the finishing room supply their own materials.
Latow also owns a professional-level digital projector for use at our meetings and events.
