As well as having a Guest Speaker, Becky Hewis (AGB) will be joining us to review the new volunteer system -
Charity Republic is our new online system for recording hours. Becky Hewis will be introducing the system to all guild members, discussing the basic steps for logging hours on the system. This database will allow us to track hours in a more efficient format, and allows individual guild members to track their own hours easily. In addition, historical hours have also been uploaded to the system so that all guild members who have been volunteers for many years now have a place to view all their cumulative hours. Charity republic will also give us a way to ensure better health and safety of volunteers through the emergency contact portion of the program that all staff have been trained how to access in case of an emergency. This is a new database that all volunteers connected to both the AGB and Arts Burlington are adapting this year.
