“The Tools of Composition”

For the first meeting of the new season I’ll be covering the “tools” available to photographers which help with composition. I’ll talk about using the usual framing practices like the “Rule of Thirds”, however I’ll also be looking at more unusual framing conventions to alter the space within the frame. I’ll cover how lens focal length affects the composition along with how using different “depth-of-fields” can change how we interpret the image. Finally I’ll look at some post processing techniques that can be used to alter the final composition.
