Explorations – Image Processing Challenge…Online

This month we have a very special challenge for Latow members.

I’m providing unprocessed full res camera original images of three different scenes and the challenge is for you to process the image of your choice in whatever way you want and then we’ll present the results at the Feb. 15th Explorations meeting.

One is a camera original JPG (Field)... for those that don’t want to get into processing RAW, and two are camera original RAW files (House and Lake)... for those that want to get more exacting with your processing. One scene (the Lake) has two versions so you might consider marrying the two into one finished file. The idea is you can make them look as good as possible, do something off the wall, whatever you want, and on the night you’ll explain what you did to produce your creation.

To make this happen you’ll need to contact Tom Stephens (tom@tomstephens.ca) to get your full res camera original image of choice and he will send it out to you.

Once you’ve processed the file save it as a full size JPG (do not resize the file from it’s original size) and send it to me (psparrow@cogeco.ca) via a file transfer like WeTransfer or Smash no later than Monday Feb. 14th. Please do not e-mail your finished file as an attached e-mail.

To start the night off I’ll present what I’ve done with the images and then I’ll go through your presented images.
