Why and How - Smartphone Videography…an intro

In-person at the Studio, Tuesday, February 18th at 7:15pm

Have you ever wondered about taking some video shots…maybe during a family event, or travel,  or as part of an Audio Visual show, or maybe doing an Instagram reel, or…?

If you already own a smartphone, you have a very handy, capable video camera with you just waiting to be used. In fact, you can also process and share your videos all from your phone! All this can be done with free apps that come with your phone. Nothing to buy, well except for the phone:)

Whatever your needs or interest, come out to the Studio at the AGB on Tuesday, February 18th to learn how to create videos using your phone. This night will be informal and interactive so bring your phone and questions, and join in the fun.

See you there!

Jim

Wild Book Covers & Crazy Posters with Rolly Astrom, AGB, 7:15pm
Mar 18 @ 7:15 pm – 9:00 pm

Rolly will lead an entertaining evening of members sharing their images...but with a twist. Think New Exposures but with images presented either as a wild book cover or a crazy poster! Or perhaps not so crazy and wild?! The important thing is to have fun with your images.

Method: Apply your photos to a book cover, album cover, poster, postcard, advertisement, etc. Either use existing book titles, album titles, postcard locations, advertisements and apply your appropriate images. Or have fun creating your own imaginary titles and authors to support one of your favourite images.

Rolly will bring along a set to kick things off but he's looking for everyone to participate. So, dig deep into your photo files and enjoy!

Get your creative juices flowing and apply them to this fun challenge. The evening will be in-person at the AGB, starting at 7:15pm.
