An evening not to be missed for those wishing to make it big!
Rolly will lead an entertaining evening of members sharing their images...but with a twist. Think New Exposures but with images presented either as a wild book cover or a crazy poster! Or perhaps not so crazy and wild?! The important thing is to have fun with your images.
Method: Apply your photos to a book cover, album cover, poster, postcard, advertisement, etc. Either use existing book titles, album titles, postcard locations, advertisements and apply your appropriate images. Or have fun creating your own imaginary titles and authors to support one of your favourite images.
Rolly will bring along a set to kick things off but he's looking for everyone to participate. So, dig deep into your photo files and enjoy!
Get your creative juices flowing and apply them to this fun challenge. The evening will be in-person at the AGB, starting at 7:15pm.
All members in good standing are welcome. If you are interested in attending, please email Derek Bottomley for the Zoom invitation.
Hello, Latow Photography Guild members, I am excited to come and speak with you. I will be sharing my love of landscape photography and how we are missing huge opportunities after the blue hour has gone and daylight turns to night.
The night is a perfect time to photograph landscapes and skies slowly, deliberately and creatively. With a bit of knowledge, some post-processing skills and if possible, a star tracker, you can create stunning images while others are sleeping!
I will have many images and stories to show you and some process images that will make the final images make sense!
With just a small flashlight, you can light everything from a small irrigation pump to a huge grain silo location. All it takes is a bit an idea, a vision and fun putting the puzzle pieces together into a nighttime masterpiece!

The presentation will be live, in-person at the AGB. Participation through Zoom will also be available. Start time is 7:15pm.
