February 12th's FLORAL PHOTOGRAPHY: WHY AND HOW 2 has been postponed due to inclement weather.
Gail Burstyn will be re-scheduling her planned session once a new date is available.
Please bring along some images you have taken since the first floral night..to review.. or some from your collections..
We will talk a bit about looking for “personality” or“gesture” in flowers.
Led by Gail Burstyn in the Studio at the AGB.
Do you have a photo project that you are working on...that you have completed? This night is an opportunity for you share your project with other members. Personal photo projects are an excellent way to make you grab your camera and start clicking.
Possible topics for sharing are your project theme, what constraints are on your project...maybe all photos are monochrome square format...and what are your plans for output or deliverables...maybe ebook, AV show, prints, website...
The number of presenters will be limited so everyone will have at least 10 minutes to show their work. Please contact Jim if you want to present with your Theme. A list of Presenters and Themes will be published prior to the night.
Remember the project could be a work in progress.

This Thursday January 16th, we are having our next Members Project Night with another excellent lineup. The agenda for the 16th is:
- John Larsen - “Full of Hot Air”
- Frank Myers - “Environmental Portraits”
- Annemarie Toth-Waddell - “Open the Door”
- John Pingree - “Dundas Old and New”
- Glen Jones - “The Story Behind the Print”
- Jim Lait - “A Walk in the Woods”
So mark in your calendars and come out and enjoy fellow members’ projects. If you have a project that you would like to share with other members, we plan to run another session next season (November/December time period). In fact, we already have half the spots booked so contact us if you are interested.

Do you enjoy wildlife photography? Come and bring some of your wildlife images to our Wildlife Photography Why and How Night on Tuesday, February 25th. This night is in our series where we learn and share: bring some images and share how you took them...or stories about them. Tim Story and I will introduce the evening and present some wildlife photographic styles and a few tips and tricks.
Bringing stuff? Please RSVP to Jim to help me plan the evening.
