In the AGB darkroom.
Join Martin Renters for a talk on how to convert your digital images into digital negatives for use in the darkroom.
Edit your digital images on the computer and then print them onto a transparency film as negatives for contact printing using traditional photographic processes such as silver halide, cyanotype or platinum/palladium.
The talk will cover topics such as transparency materials, printer settings, determining exposure in the darkroom, and compensating for medium response curves.
Ideally this will be a hands-on session but to do that we will need an Epson Ultrachrome pigment based printer such as a 3880 or similar. If you have one we can borrow for the evening please contact Martin and let him know.
